Dashboard

When you first access JARVIS, you're presented with the following screen:

This is the dashboard, which provides a few key performance metrics for the Studio as a whole.

  • Items Overdue: This is the total number of items that are overdue. Our goal is to be as close to zero items overdue as possible. Clicking this tile will take you to the Overdue Items list.
  • Most Days Overdue: This is the number of days the most overdue checkout is overdue by. We want this number to be as close to zero as possible. Clicking this tile will take you to the Overdue Items list.
  • On-time Returns: This is the percentage of returns that are returned on-time. Our goal for every checkout to be returned on time, so we want this number to be close to 100%.

On the left of the screen, you'll see a "Kit Availability" section. This lists each type of Kit we have in the system and how many of that kit we have available versus how many of that kit we have total. So, if we have 50 FlipCam kits, 25 of which are available for checkout, you'd see a green bar representing the fact that 50% of our FlipCam kits are available. You can learn more about how availability is calculated in the FAQ.

On the right of the screen, you'll see a bar chart showing the average number of checkouts we process for each weekday. This is helpful in determining which days are busier than others.
